This work will be examined through two frameworks: bioethics and empowerment of practice professionals. This webshop is recommended for interpreters who are considering starting working in healthcare settings with Deaf Professionals.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize multiple approaches to matching Deaf healthcare professionals’ interpreting needs
- Apply bioethics framework to decision making process
- Understand the parameters of role-space
Time commitment
This webshop will require about 90 minutes of work. You must invest at least 75 minutes or more. There are no set meeting times. All work must be completed by 11:59pm on July 31.
